Hi,

I'm thinking of getting a JG W733 from you guys at AW (when they are back in stock) but I wanted to change the handguard to this:

M4 CQB RIS

Unfortuently there isn't much info on lengths etc, and I have searched the forum here for a bit more info but couldn't find anything more solid so I thought best to ask here in case someone knows or has already done it!

Also, if there isn't any info on there would this go?: The Samurai C-33, also from AW.

Might require a bit of tweaking I'm afraid. Most people don't realise that the M733 foregrip is actually longer than that of an M4, so it's not a straight swap

Sometimes it's possible to shorten the front end, but I would rather try & see...

Hmm, pants lol

I knew it proberly wouldn't be that easy. I really want an M4 with the front RIS and the shorter barrel, but don't want to pay an arm and a leg for a new TM/CA etc one with it all built in.

Would it come down to having to get another barrel and a normal size RIS handguard?

If you can wait just a few weeks we should have the D-Boys CQBR thingy - full RIS front end and almost no barrel beyond that

What else is have you got coming in? Your MB-02 looks nice but no idea whether it has a 14mm thread on that stubby barrel.
