The Copehill Down Village:
This is a purpose built OBUA (Operations in Built Up Areas) training facility. It is the biggest OBUA facility in Europe, with its 6 streets, 80+ buildings and nearly 2000 rooms. Plus being in the heart of the Salisbury Plains army training area, noise is no issue, so its pyros galore!!!
But what else has Copehill got? Firing ports, trapdoors, grenade sumps, loft spaces ( with sniper hides - removable roof tile ), mouseholes inside and out, burnt out cars, armoured vehicles, pill boxes, trenches, hidden fire positions within piles of rubble, pub, shops, farms, garages and a petrol station.
This is not just any old urban environment. This has everything that every airsoft player could ever want!!!

What we want to achieve in Town Assault II:
Town Assault events represents a single battle that is part of an overall larger storyline. We want to immerse the players in to the heat of the battle. Whilst trying to keep it realistic as possible, we also want to maximise the enjoyment for everyone on the event. This is what we set out to achieve:
1. To push the boundaries in airsoft gaming
2. Create a unique experience for each player
3. Immerse the players in the comat environment
4. Create an event that encourages the use of good tactics
5. Create an event that rewards good team work
6. The players should enjoy themselves every minute of the event
7. Extract and condense all the best bits of MilSim in to a adrenaline pumping event
8. Focus the game on the actual battle at hand.
9. Create a sense of urgency during the engagement.
10. To make every single player feel like they have a purpose in the battle.
Here is just some of the feedback from Town Assault 1:
"OK, well WHAT A GREAT DAY IT WAS!!!! I loved the idea of everybody beeing on limited ammo which made people shoot to hit rather then spray and pray. The Commanders and Comms procedures IMHO worked superb, it was great to hear all this reports and instructions coming in. Thanks for THE BEST airsoft experience so far, Sunday for me was just AMAZING. THANK YOU."

"I very rarely post on the forums, but I must take this opportunity to thank you guys for perhaps one of the best days gaming I’ve had in the last 5 years. I have always been a bit of a pray and spray approach, but you have defiantly converted me to limited ammo game play."
garlicbread - UKAN Forums
"Town assault, from what Dave and Ian had explained was going to be big. Really big, and I hadn't realised how much they'd put into keeping the whole thing managable for the commanders. With the use of the laptop to keep track of your own and enemy forces it made it quite possibe to react or plan accordingly. Having a large map on the wall meant that it was easy to brief the out going players so they at least appeared to understand what I was on about."
Captain Handgrenade - Airsoft Community Forums
"I was marshalling, and it looked like the best airsoft event I have ever seen, never before have I wanted so much to grab my guns and get stuck in!"
