We have now worked out the prices for the pyro's that will be on sale at the event. In the up and coming weeks we will give you the chance to pre-order your pyro's so that we know roughly how many to bring to the event but you will not be required to pay anything until you get to the event.
We have tried to make the prices competitive in order for you to be inclined to buy the pyro's at the event. I do please encourage you to buy the event pryo's because all proceeds will allow us to invest more into the battle pyro's planned for the event as well as other wow factors that will make the event unique.
So without further a do, here are the prices....
Mk5 Thunderflash - £1.50
Ball Grenade (striker top) - £2.00
Ball Grenade (ring pull top) - £3.00
90 second Smoke Grenade - £2.00
3 minute Smoke Grenade - £8.00
Now we have absolutely no idea how many people would buy pryo's for the event and how many they would buy. What we are looking for is a gauge to determine how many people would buy the pyro's at the event and roughly how many they would be inclined to buy.
The pre-orders will give us the exact numbers but we want to start getting a rough idea now.

The pyro's are from TLSFX, and I believe they make the pyro's for Dangerzone. But I will check to see what colours can be made available.

I'll speak to my chaps about what they'll be wanting.
It does rather depend on what tactics the Company Cmdr wants to employ at the event, as to what we'll be wanting to make sure that we're well supported.

I would not worry about the plan the company cmdr will make.
If you are coalition then you will be doing a shed load of house clearing.
If you are rebels then sooner or later you will break down the attack and may find yourself in a position to launch a counter attack, if not the first day then certainly by the second day. In which case you would then be doing loads of house clearances.
And plans go out the window within a couple of hours because you can bet the enemy will not happily play along with you plans and so new plans we be made constantly during the event to deal with the unfolding situation.

Well this thread is just for us to test the water on pyro sales.
We should have something on the website which will allow you to pre-order the pyros in the next few weeks.
I would expect the cut off to probably be somewhere around a couple weeks before the event.

You can use the Pyro "Screening Smoke" thats chucks out as much as a military smoke for 4 mins, marine smoke and mil spec smokes OUTSIDE and
Pyro 1min and 30sec burn smokes Indoors.
Screening smokes and the pyro smokes will be sold at the event.

Frontline Conflicts has now become one of the official sponsors of Town Assault II, and as such will be holding a stand for the duration of the event and will be selling the complete range of Spectrum pyrotechnics such as stun grenades, mk5's, large mk3 smokes (2.5 minutes), small smokes (1 minute) and an assortment of tactical gear.

I am very sorry to say that there has been some complications with Frontline Conflicts and we are awaiting final confirmation from them regarding sponsorship.
But regardless of this, we will have a host of pyrotechics that will be sold on the day.
Steve Pearson
Apr 23 2006, 17:47 PM
Due to unforseen restrictions as to what traders can and cannot sell during the course of the event, we have had to withdraw our sponsor as we were originally going to hold a stand purely for the sales of pyrotechnic articles such as Mk5's, Stuns, BB Grenades with a few other bits and bobs related to tac gear ect, but were only made aware until after we had arranged to become a sponsor that we would have been unable to do this except for Stun Grenades. But not to worry, these things happen. If anyone should still require stuns and Spectrum brand pyrotechnics then we will still be more than happen to supply via our website.
Many thanks.
Steve.
