Well we get the best of both dont we some showers on saturday and normal temp on sunday. What more could we ask for we wouldn't want to overheat now would we.
ionic gorilla
If it aint raining... wink.gif.1
Ewart
Rains best for attackers.

Thats not good for us defenders then is it?
huddy
I will also add:

http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/7days.asp

Which is very good (the quality of the forecast rather than what's forecast at the moment. Their models usually get drier (ie predict less rain) as a date approaches.

Also, for a description of what's going on:

www.theweatheroutlook.com

Other Comments

Weather.com is always a very wet forecast.

BBC Weather is a dry forecast

Look at all those websites and get then with a good pinch/handfull of salt, pack sunnies, sunblock and goretex.

7 day forecasts aren't too accurate. Once we get to Tues or Wed then we'll have a much better idea of what we'll be playing in.

As the man says - if it ain't raining, it ain't training.

After 3 or 4 hours of non-stop furious action I personally would welcome a little bit of rain to just cool down a bit.

Rain through the night however is something I would not look forward to.
brian crainie
Look at it this way, If its pishing down with rain, what better incentive is there to take the buildings and get in out the rain?
AK
And what better incentive for us to keep em tongue.gif
But it hink it'll add to the atmosphere

This from metcheck.com this morning:

...From midweek onwards, the weather turns a trifle more unsettled than you would expect for this time of year...Gales are possible across many unsheltered areas, and once again, rain will certainly not be in short supply.

Towards the end of the week and it's a mixture of not just strong winds, but rain and perhaps sleet and snow for far Northern areas as winds swing round to a more Northerly direction behind the low.

So, all in all an unsettled week ahead and feeling more like March than May.

Def getting the old goretex out!

Rock on my man I like your attitude bring on the storm.
Gir
come on, like lightning suddenly stabbing out from the sky, backlighting a previously hidden troop for just that split second, casting the shadow of the rebel sneaking up on you with his silenced weapon, just as it's too late...

Or maybe I should stop reading H.P. Lovecraft...

I think it'd fucking rock... and come on snow! Green'll show up fantastically well on that shit biggrin.gif
