At arounf 07:30 this morning my brother Miles had a very bad slip going up the stairs of the news agents, following a man up in full storm mode, he took a step back when the man infront got laced, slipping with his mudey boot on the concreat steps, going down pritty much the entire flight on his arse, unfortunatly when trying to stop him self he severly dislocated his shoulder, and spent until midday in hospital having it fixed, and now has been sighned off work for 6 weeks with physo.

I would like to thank the marshels around, specifically the trauma medic, the doctor who help (a rebel player from Slavakia I believe), Ian and Ali for helping organise the evac of our equipment and my brother.

And finally all the players patience, who must have been frustrated with the two not particularly short breaks that where required, first to deal with the initial injury, and second for when the ambalance came on sight.

We three (Ross Burton, my bro Miles, and friend Scot Fruin, A Comp Coalition) who had to leave were deaply disapointed to have to miss the final 4 hours of what was an awsome weekend, and have been reading every ones comments to find out what we missed, but these things happen, so bring on TA3.

I definatly wont complain about that one. From where I was standing they looked not too bad. A welcome relief to a tired wet softer. innocent.gif

That was Ionic Gorilla that shot the guy that stepped back and eventually casued your bro to fall. Blame him. I do for everything, even for my birth.

At least he has the longest recovery time for any player. Most are back in work Tuseday I guess. 6 Weeks eh? Plenty of lie in's. Hope his shoulder gets better soon.

Well I must admit there where quite a few fit Nurses at the hospital:)

Plus the amblance crew where nice to, they had Miles loaded up on Entox and Morphine so he was as high as a kite.

Glad hes OK (ish)- me and a couple of the other Bristol lads were just across the street from where it all happened. Didn't realise who it was though.

I'm glad to hear that he is ok and I hope that he gets well soon.

I'm sorry that he fell when I shot the leading assaulter with my pistol.

Here's hoping that he gets a very fit and cute physiotherapist to help him get better, instead of the munters that I always end up with.

Get well soon mate. And thanks for the breather thumbsup.gif
Gotta feel really sorry as well for the Coalition guy who tore a ligament in his knee in the first half hour, he must be really gutted sad.gif
Thanks to everyone for a top weekend food-smiley-004.gif

Glad to hear he's ok now. I could hear he was in pain. I was just outside the news agents and one of my guys was inside and saw it happen. He said it looked pretty nasty, so I'm relieved he's ok now.

We (Mad Hatters) were dug in by the rubble outside the schoolhouse when the call came in, those stairs put the willies up be, hope your brother makes a full recovery cypher, shame you guys missed the end

I was two hours into my sleep when Matt Belgrove woke me up to tell me there had been a very serious injury involving stairs and that the RSM was at the gate and was not in a good mood.

How is your brother now?

It totally amazed me that despite Miles injuries, all he seemed concerned about was that he was going to miss the end of the event. Fear not Miles, you will have another chance, and as I told you on the day, your next ticket will be a free one!

But please let me know how you get on. smile.gif

He feels ok now, though he has some powerful pain killers, once they got the shoulder back together he felt alot better for it, now hes just annoyed he going to out of action for so long as he is a rather active person, plus he hates being stuck in the home for any length of time.

Thanks again for every one responces, I will pass them onto him.

Yeah the guy who went out the in the first 10 mins was one of ours

Unlimited Ammo (alex ledger)

He fell and his knee popped out of its socket, tore a ligament, then went back in
Needless to say that was the end of his event

Hes better now but he cant walk properly, kinda hobbling
