Thought this would be a good op. to post a thread asking if anyone has any good war stories? It would be intresting to congratulate those who got good kills and gloat about the good ones you may have got

No nasties or anything just swapping stories!
Also has anyone got any good war wounds? (Aside from the serious ones that had to be called for a cease fire, for which, if you are reading, i hope your all feeling better

)
Discuss!!

The good:
Storming Bravo 17 (just passed Shrewton intersection) with the crazy Swedes. Probably the best assault I took part in all day.
The bad:
Being booted out of Alpha 7. That really pissed me off (in 'all's fair in war' type of way) - so the take back was all the sweeter.
The ugly:
Calling in a fire mission on a Platoon strength enemy force flanking Copehill Road, only to have it land 80 metres from the actual grid, 20 minutes late and on top of 20 Coalition guys heads. The fact that the Rebels did the same thing to themselves 10 minutes later, did bring a smile to my face though.
Wounds:
None much. Just a nasty bruise and a black eye from being hit in the face on a charge up a staircase.
2 of my fav's!
Top Window of Hotel some bloke peeks around a building, 1 shot one kill, was in the face so I appolgise for that, like wise another 2 people stuck their heads out from the pipe again all I could see was there head so again I am sorry (although these guys were wearing helmets).
Actually that window was my best position little/no wind good view etc.
I was in the last building next to the petrol station about 4-6 guys behind it coming to last light throw a flash bang hoping for it to land about 1ft in the corner bounces of a rock and gets all of them!
I think most my kills were by bfg/ mk5.

My war story would be leading platoon 3's rush into the town at the very beggining! Which was completely against what our corporal or whatever he was had asked us to do (cover fire ????) but it worked as we took the first few buildings with relative ease!!!
And also running along beside a hummer an clearing a whole building like this lol !!
The injuries 1 point blank shot to my left ear from a member of the coalition brandishing an SA80 lol!!
A cut on the very tip of my nose where i took a bb!
My shredded knee caps from diving around on concrete doing my whole medic thingy!!
Oh and when i was literally stunned when one of my mates decided to role a dynatec under my feat whil i was eating my dinner!! (this was in the carpark) And was followed by calls of ACHTUNG !! Lol

Best bits...
* 4 hour stalk round the village to retake part of Shrewton St and assault enemy just b4 dawn.
* Drive by in the land rover only to end up driving straight into enemy HQ compound....
* The final 3hrs and the last stand at SFHQ
Only injury is a couple of stiff knees.

War wounds, not bad for myself, bb's sized scab on face gained while storming up stairs. Red welts on back of right hand, left arm, and across my back.
Plus a nasty scratch on the left of my head from getting hung up on a barbed wire fence while atempting to avoid fire duringt he night.
War stories..... far to many, did engoy running round our HQ with pistol and M3 taclight routing Coalition atempts to take the said building. or maybe running into 15 or so coalition stacking up agensed a building while just carrying my shotgun!!

Getting M203'ed by Turtle towards the end while using a Landy as cover, then having him force me to lie down in the road to repay me for doing the same to him
Loads of stuff. But just thought I'd give Turtle a shout for that incident plus him and 3 other chaps holding that corner, fighting like wildcats and being a pain in the arse for my Plt's attack.
Oh and also, avoiding capture by someone who got taken down by friendly fire, only to be picked up by Rob in his 101 seconds later.

But I did get a lift back to my HQ so it's all good.
I woke up this morning and my arms are cut to buggery, I also have a cut on my nose which has bruised and a semi bruised eye. Not quite sure how I got that but might of been due to grenades being thrown in the HQ when I finally got some sack time, scrambling up and grabbing my pistol, while tripping over my bed

War Stories - Wow, so many, as it was such a good weekend. Sunday was especially fun due to the intense fighting. Probably one of the highlights was a mad dash up the left with a Swedish and Danish SF guy and 3 of my team. We caused plenty of havoc, taking out Rebels as we went. They even sent the armed Landie in after us

We eventially got halted and unfortunately one of my team didn't cover the rear as he was asked and we all got nailed as I was reloading
War Wounds - I have a cut on my right leg I didn't even know about until I got in the bath. Now I know it's there, it hurts

I've also got a slight bruise on my left shoulder. It may have been when Ian did the dodgy airstrike pyro throw that went off near us, throwing up a large rock which hit me on the shoulder, but then it may have just been where my sling was rubbing.

So many good moments.
Around 1am our section sneaking up on a group of 12 or so coalition guys who were behind a wall firing towards our HQ. They'd not set any rear security, so we literally walked over to within 20 feet of them, lit them up then lit them up!
Lots of examples of good sportmanship from both sides, especially during the night.
Apart from stiff joints and a few bruises, the only war wound I took was a finger tip gone black from a near point blank burst I took while clearing out a cellar (thanks mate for keeping your aim low, it could have been a lot worse!).

Best points were.... sooo many too remember!
Defending our SFHQ from coalition sf on the 1st day, was it stirling?? I believe and completely ruining there plans, especially by the trains. LOVED flippy giving me his minime and hosing 4 of them while me and Arran were dug in right on the trains wheels.
Capturing Ian after a raid on coalition ground, watching him being man-handled by flippy, flex cuffed and being exposed to other activities *cough cough*
Popping 4 guys who got dropped off at our HQ lol
Making entry into one of the buildings that had an extremely high 1st floor with all my heavy gear on and managing to completely pull up the bottom of an m4 mag like a sardine tin.
Being cas evac by Arran and watching him realise how heavy I was after I was on his shoulder (guy is a legend).
Getting a picture perfect kill with my brand new M14 R.A.S courtesy of the FANTASTIC guys at fire support. It was completly dark and I spotted this coalition guy through the window of a building through the windows of another entire building (yeah i know - mad) and I just pulled off 1 shot and bang, chest shot. - Thanks to the guy that I hit as he took it, great sport and it made my day

Going out at 1 am and crawling for 4 hours with the rest of my HWM boys in preparation for our dawn raid on shrewton street, we managed to take some ground back and then head back to link up with SF02 and carry on giving the coalition a hard time.
And finnaly at the last stand where there were hardly any rebels left holding off the last few buildings.
Big respect to ALL the rebels who stayed to the end and an ever bigger thanks to HWM, Fire Support and Ian & Dave who not only helped me have a great weekend but also stayed till 8 o clock sunday evening helping us sweep every room, close all the shutters and clean up all the shit & rubbish that people left behind. All done in the pouring rain and feezing cold.
Rebel HQ was in an absolutely DISGUSTING condition and for those of you who left your rubbish lying around you should be ASHAMED of yourselves for being such scumbags. And dont worry I mean all of that and if you have a problem you can kiss my ass, as you clearly had NO RESPECT to all the hard work done to get that site and host such an event.
To those that did tidy up there rubbish, thank you very much and it was appreciated as not all the buildings were in a bad state however those that didnt i hope you had a good time because we most likely wont get that site for airsoft ever again thanks to the disgusting state it was left in.... oh and if we do ever get it for an airsoft event, mark my words it is down to the people who helped tidy up that day.
Injuries wise well im aching all over, soles of my feet have turned green (someone did take a pic) and thats about it.

I had several excellent moments, several superb building assaults, and through the night alot of very sneaky beaky action either solo or with only a couple of other bodies.
The ultimate was when I took the enemy flag from tehre base in teh middle of the night, with only a single man supporting me, and the adrealin puping as we walked out with meters of a patrol who didnt challenge us.

holding off at least 30 coalition guys round the far left side of the village for about 30 mins with just me and 2 of my teammates, so many kills and a fantastic team moment for us

, shame they got us in the end but still

Team wannabe holding one of the last remaining buildings while being completley surrounded at the end of sunday by the entire coalition, held them off and kept our building to the end

Just want to say well played all, some excelent play by everyone, great weekend

well after the coalition took the first buildings on the left they started moving into the buildings opposite the BP garage well i was pinned down and wounded outside one of those buildings, after trying to assualt it and was on my own screaming for a medic eventualy my cuz came and medic'd me then buggered off i was still pinned so i thought sod this so out cam a mk5 i lobbed it in and followed the bang the room was now empty so i went through the door with only a pistol and two coaliton with mp5's lit me up from no more than 3 ft away
they stripped the skin off two of my knuckles and another bb hit my neck and made quite a nasty welt that broke the skin
also whilst clearing basments under the offlicence and postoffice etc someone sprayed my right leg absolutly covered in nasty welts luckily none broke skin but they look nasty
worth it though coz i have wounds to show off to my mates now
my fav kill was a coalition guy with a 165 round moscart loaded with .45's after comming through the upstairs door in the school

Absolutely awesome!
Best war story was about midnight. Put on my NVG's and went for a skulk around - come across 8 Coalition sneaking up towards the hotel. Pitch black and sneaked right up to them and being the good sport that I am, politely pointed out that the grenade in my hand would have got them all. Bloody good sports the lot of them as I was met with 'Fair play mate - good drills!'. 8 in a oner - definitely my moment!
And one for Holly - the WASPS decided to hunt you down (along with Ethan!) for a bit of inter team fun but the only opportunity that presented itself was blown out of the water when you all got it in the Arty Strike opposite the school! Bugger!!
Great fun and excellent to play with all you mad buggers - especially all those that managed to fight though to the very end.
Cheers all!

Ah, that was you was it Mr Splinter Cell?
That was most of my section (minus my 2IC who escaped as he'd stepped round the corner and some others that went missing) and 2 randoms who'd teamed up with us. I think you were a good sport not to grenade us at that range so I returned the favour by calling us all out, which everyone agreed with.

I've still no idea who the guy that shot at you was, never even knew he was there until he turned his torch on. I think that was a good example of fair play on both sides which, on the whole, made the event what it was!

Got two nasty marks on my face from getting shot when I was wearing just shooting glasses (swapped to mask as night due to being fat and not wanting to steamed up).
Really was an amazing experience, felt like I was back on exercise in the ta. Truely remarkable.
Airsoft is going to seem dull after experiencing this, I *cannot* wait for the next event.
Really sorry I didn't stick around at the end but physically I could barely walk and was actually nodding off on the motorway! (took me five hours to get home). Plus, I'd forgotten my broom :/ At least I was able to help a bit with the setup on the Friday.
Hoping there may be other (more regular?) events of a similar magnitude - lets make airsoft great!

and where i went into a occupied building, took down 1 with my m15
then pistold 3 more just to have a dynatec land on my feet :/

Top event, best bits,
Being part of that SF02 section that linked up with SF01 early sunday morn to mix it up a bit in the infedel scums area of the village.
Storming a 3 story bhilding with SF01 in that same raid with speed and giving the infedel scum hell once we got to the top.
Holding a building on the far forward left of left of the village waiting for resupply by Rob in the 101 down to just pistols and last rifle mags only to have Team wannabe and Jesus turn up to back us up.
The final Battle for our SFHQ's in that legendary Alamo style battle at the end of the sunday.
Clearing the post office/offlicence building from one end to the other on all 3 floors with Andy (Cracking Day) Rob (curryman666) and Adam (Storm Trooper) from Team PARA especially the basment, guye that room clearance rocked.
Riding on the back of the HWM Wagon sinday afternoon trying to take the fight back to the enemy with Yogi driving and Arran on the 249.
in the dying minutes of the day defending out SFHQ again taking a guy out behind the latrine block seeing his face as i burst round the corner with my Hi-Capa shooting him in the chest. then taking a guy out from ver the roof of the letrine block (sorry later founf out he was a rebel aswell) shooting at a guy in the next building in the line taking him out, bugging back getting hit, getting mediced, then ruching forward again to enemy building diving in through the basement window... starting to clear the building along with my pistol only i took a guy out on the 1st floor as he walked past the stairs.... the Game over was called
Just seeing the enemies face as i walked up the stairs past them as we left the building, i dont know weather they where shocked or scared when they asked me where i had came from.
Big thanks to Ian and Dave for the best airsoft event i have been to in my years of playing.
so many good memmories i could go on but i am sure i would bore you all.

Funniest for me was taking the house next to the pub to the left of rebel HQ at twighlight with the boy swift and some other lads, but having to nip back to HQ to change my battery.
When I came back across it was pretty much dark, and I walked in the rebel side door and started chatting to the figures standing around the bottom of the stairs who told me there was an 'enemy' upstairs. after a minute or two I realised swifty was the enemy upstairs and proceeded to blat everyone infront of me

I was taken out 2 seconds later by another coalition guy outside when I tried to flee, but they gave me a wine gum for the effort

Getting bagged by HWM.
I had just delivered an arty barrage and feeling all good when.....BAMMMM!!!!! I was on the deck face down in the ground. I tried to struggle but it was no good. Next minute my hands were behind my back and the plastic ties were on my wrist!!!
I was yanked up and forced to run under the armed guard of HWM, 70m later I was shoved to the ground again.......we layed there for a few minutes with a knee pushed in my back, and then we were off again and I knew I was being marched in the rebel HQ compund. There goes my chance to escape.
It was forced to kneel with my feet crossed while they decided what to do.
I was then moved to another position for the interogation. They wanted to know the position of the coalition HQ and the SF HQ.
I will not say what happened next because some people might think it extreme. They did get some information from me but not all........rebel scum!!!!!!

He wished it had.
I had been involved in an attack on coalition forces along the fenceline towards the garage and at the time of the bagging I had been hit, so lay back and waited to bleed out thinking it would be a mellow 5 minutes.
No. My attention was grabbed by seeing Flippy and (I think) Lewis literally jump onto Wormbyte and wrestle him to the ground. I was pissing myself at this. He might not have had such a hard time of it had not one of Team Wannabe been passing with what I had just assumed were decorative plasticuffs.
However, there is a lesson to all of this.
Do not go onto an internet forum bragging that a certain team will never get you and that you can take any hardcore treatment they can dish out, because they WILL get you, and they WILL dish it out.
Of course, it will mean a price on their heads at TA3...

Taking the building to the north of the pub around 8pm. After we (16AA) guys moved around the outside and caught out some rebels hiding near a latrine i first bandaged to guys near a wrecked car.
Then went (sprinted) back to my original position and then back to the car to request some cover fire. Got hit and they returned the favour and bandaged me. I then got them to cover me which i ran right up to the building and threw a perfect grenade into the room the rebel that was causing us so much trouble.
The shouts inside of GRENADE made my day :-)
I got hit just after but was medded in time to take the building and to find there were all of 2 rebels in there holding back about 20 coalition LOL
Not so good was about 11pm when our guys in the building nearby let 5 rebels in and chatted to them for a few minutes without realising and then made us all grenade bait. Gave me bloody concussion for a couple of hours!

One of our best stories ( Slovaks ) was a sneaking of our three guys around the town at 1 am on sunday to Coalition HQ. They went inside the HQ trough opened window on the ground knifekilling every body they meet. Shoot 4 more people guarding outside HQ and the accidently started shooting on 1 floor of HQ. Veeery soory for that. Then they just desepeared in the darknes. 10 minutes after another our group of 2 attacked building near HQ.

I was the one who started this topic and have yet to post! oops! thats what exams does for you!
Stories - One of my best bits was on Saturday afternoon. I was in the building opposite the BP garage and Rebels held the building infront and the front line by the barn. On the right hand side of the building was a wall section. I had used smoke for cover and snuck up to where the Rebels were. I spotted that it was one of the guys from my local site (Tonka) and shot him squarely in the head

That was legendary! Then when another local player came to revive him, i shot him also

I loved that, because it was personal

That was one of the best bits. But there have been so many i doubt i could list them all!!
War Wounds - I shall make a list

-I already fractured my big toe a while ago but managed to bust that up again in TA2
-I jammed my finger in between two metal poles whilst setting up some chair/bed thing in our HQ which had to be taped up and hurt like hell (think i broke them :|)
-I cut my knee open and only got the crap i managed to slice in there out yesterday! It consisted of various bits of gravel and a rather large stone

That hurt!
-I have loads of mini bruises from constantly diving across the floors etc
-I also have loads of welts, mainly on my legs but also on my chest and back
-My quads realllly ached and i struggled to walk normally for days as they kept on giving way in college the next day!! My friends walked with arms under my elbows to hold me upright!
-A few nice face shots
-Couple of blisters

You dont notice how much injuries you get in the game because of the adrealine!!

LOL,the funniest thing i can remember was when i was sent to cover / or help to cover the sth side of the village,we had pushed back an attack by the rebels and were a little stretched,a few went to help elsewere n a couple were killed.
i ducked down behind the grassy berm and made my way round to the end of it near to the rebel lines.
their were about 5-10 rebels around, and a few turned up in a land rover.lol.they coudln,t tell how many of us their were so i kept ducking behind the hill n moveing to give the impression i was n,t alone [ but i was ] at that time.
a few moved up to get me i stood n fired, lol,i was quickly out of bullets.n still fired.my gun made the noise but bno ammo.
eventually 2-3 made it towards my poss so i decided to do a tactical retreat.so i ran a way ,[ temporerilly ],but dodging bullets n laughing my sockds off.
this was only one of many memorable incidents.i held up the enemy for about 15-25 mins.well cool.
i remember getting shot during the day but no injuries.even when i was shot in the face...
cheers all n hope to see you all at the next meet.live long n kill loads of rebels. lol..
